The Virginia emo band Turnover has announced their new album, Down on Earth, set for an independent release on May 29. This marks a significant shift for the band as they venture into self-releasing their music.
Album Details
Produced by longtime collaborator Zac Montez, Down on Earth follows Turnover's previous album, Myself in the Way. The band has already released two singles from the new album: "Nightjar" and "I See You and Realize." The former comes with a music video directed by Ben Turok, which features an escape from urban life to a picturesque countryside.
Upcoming Tour
To support the album, Turnover will embark on a tour with Narrow Head and She’s Green as opening acts. Notable stops include a performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in September alongside Coheed and Cambria. The tour will kick off on June 3 in Allentown, PA, and includes stops at several major festivals such as the Governors Ball Music Festival and Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
