Vince Staples has announced a North American tour in support of his latest album, Cry Baby. The tour will feature a live band accompanying the rapper and will take place in October and November.
New Album Release
Staples released Cry Baby, his debut full-length album for Loma Vista, earlier this month. The album includes tracks like “Blackberry Marmalade,” “White Flag,” and “Cotton,” each with its own high-concept, politically charged music video. The video for “Blackberry Marmalade,” styled like a first-person shooter game, was quickly age-restricted on YouTube. In response, Staples tweeted, urging those over 18 to share the video with younger audiences, stating, “Our children deserve the truth.”
Tour Dates and Locations
The tour will kick off on October 19 in Atlanta, Georgia, and will include stops in major cities such as Houston, Austin, Brooklyn, and Toronto, concluding on November 15 in San Francisco. Fans can catch Staples performing at venues like Tabernacle in Atlanta, Brooklyn Steel in New York, and The Warfield in San Francisco.
