London-based sales company The Mise-En-Scène Company is rolling out international rights for the ensemble comedy The Napa Boys at the Cannes Film Market. The acquisition was made through Sunset Rose Pictures, helmed by producer Mike Rosenstein.
Star-Studded Cast
Co-written by and starring Armen Weitzman of Veep and Nick Corirossi from What We Do in the Shadows, who also directs, The Napa Boys features a story about friends exploring wine country led by a mysterious figure known only as “The Sommelier.” The film's ensemble includes Sarah Ramos (The Bear), Mike Mitchell (Twisted Metal), Chloe Cherry (Euphoria), Vanessa Chester (Jurassic Park), Paul Rust (Love), Jamar Neighbors (Keanu), Ivy Wolk (Anora), David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer), Ray Wise (Twin Peaks), Riki Lindhome (Knives Out), Natasha Leggero (Another Period), Beth Dover (Orange Is the New Black), alongside Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and DJ Qualls (Road Trip). Jerrod Carmichael is the executive producer.
Premieres and Releases
The Napa Boys premiered in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto Film Festival. It was released in U.S. theaters in February and became available on digital and on-demand platforms on April 20. A Blu-ray and DVD release is scheduled for May 19.

Rosenstein represented the filmmakers in the deal, with Yates and Rory MacDonald negotiating for The Mise-En-Scène Company, which is also managing worldwide sales for the Al Pacino starrer Billy Knight, featuring Charlie Heaton and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
