Spotify marks its 20th anniversary by offering users a detailed retrospective of their music listening habits since joining the platform, via a new Wrapped-like feature.
20th Anniversary Celebration
Starting today, Spotify users can explore their entire music history through the mobile app, accessing previously unreleased data that tracks their listening journey from day one. The feature, titled “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s),” provides insights into the first song streamed, the top artists over the years, and the total number of unique tracks played since account creation.
All-Time Top Songs Playlist
Users will also receive a curated All-Time Top Songs Playlist featuring their top 120 tracks, complete with play counts for each song. This personalization mirrors Spotify's popular Wrapped yearly recaps but extends further back, providing a comprehensive look at users' long-term musical preferences.
Shareable Features
Alongside the historical data, the experience includes a shareable custom stat card. Designed for social media sharing, these cards allow users to showcase their music history to friends, celebrating their personal Spotify milestones.
The feature can be accessed by searching “Spotify 20” or “Party of the Year(s)” within the mobile app or by visiting spotify.com/20 on mobile devices. Spotify has yet to confirm if this recap will be available for desktop users.
