Scott Foley took to Instagram to express his disappointment following the cancellation of It's Not Like That by Prime Video after just one season.
Prime Video's Top Performer
Foley noted the series' significant achievements, stating, "Well, after six or so weeks in Prime Video’s top 10, and I think getting as high as like three or four, [and] really great reviews, I think we have like 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, our little show called 'It’s Not Like That' has been canceled at Amazon Prime." Despite its performance, the series will not be renewed.
Gratitude and Reflection
Expressing gratitude, Foley said, "I’m disappointed, obviously, but I’m so grateful for the chance, right? I got to make a show I’m so proud of with people I grew to like a lot, and now we don’t get to make it anymore, and you don’t get to watch it." He thanked everyone involved in the production, as well as the viewers who supported the show.
Acknowledging the Audience
Foley also addressed fans directly: "If you watched it, thank you. I appreciate it. If you didn’t, still on Amazon Prime. You can check it out. It’s not going to change the cancellation, but I wanted to thank everybody who took the time to check it out. Whether you found it on your own, whether it was a recommendation you saw on social media, it’s appreciated."
