At an Apple FYC event moderated by Variety's Emily Longeretta, Ford admitted he was unaware of the 'Indiana Jones' nods in the show. When asked about humming 'The Raiders March,' Ford confessed, "I actually didn’t know that the melody that I was mouthing was from ‘Indiana Jones.’" His comment evoked laughter from the panel, with Jason Segel quipping, "You thought you just made it up?"
Surprising Reactions
Ford explained, "I just thought it was some familiar thing that everybody knew!" Co-creator Bill Lawrence joked, "That’s the tune that Harrison hums whenever he walks in any room." Ford recounted a similar experience during a colonoscopy where the song played in the operating room. He also missed the reference in the Season 3 finale when he said, "choose wisely," a line from 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.' Michael Urie pointed this out during the panel, to which Ford humorously responded, "Oh yeah!"

Lawrence disclosed another hidden reference: a 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' prop in the background of Paul’s trailer during a scene with Jimmy and Meg, played by Lily Rabe.
