Entourage Ventures teams up with Our Films and global streamer Mubi to enhance film financing and production in a strategic agreement announced at Cannes.
Expanding Three-Year Agreement
This partnership is an extension of the existing three-year co-production, financing, and distribution deal established in 2025 between Our Films and Mubi. Under this agreement, Mubi is responsible for distributing co-produced titles in key regions, while The Match Factory, Mubi's international sales company, handles worldwide sales.
Strategic Financial Structuring
Entourage Ventures, led by Julien Delajoux and Matthias Nicodème, is collaborating with Mediawan’s global distribution to co-invest in international productions. The new arrangement aims to provide financial structuring and investment for globally ambitious auteur-driven films, supporting projects from the earliest stages, according to an official statement.
Our Films' Recent Projects
Founded in 2024 by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Mieli, Our Films has produced titles such as “Feel My Voice,” the Italian adaptation of “La Famille Bélier,” and Marco Bellocchio’s TV series “Portobello,” available on HBO Max. Current projects include Paweł Pawlikowski’s “Fatherland,” starring Sandra Hüller and August Diehl, premiering at Cannes, and Felix van Groeningen’s “Let Love In,” featuring Luca Marinelli and Charlotte Vandermeersch.
Strengthening Creative Collaborations
Mediawan’s chief content officer, Elisabeth d’Arvieu, expressed satisfaction with Entourage Ventures joining the partnership. Gianani and Mieli noted that Entourage Ventures' financial expertise will enhance their ability to support high-level auteur projects with international reach.
Delajoux and Nicodème of Entourage Ventures emphasized that this agreement marks a new phase in their collaboration with Mediawan, involving early-stage support for projects that meet industry standards alongside renowned partners.
