The Beatles are set to open their first official museum, The Beatles at 3 Savile Row, in London next year. The museum will occupy the townhouse where the legendary band recorded Let It Be and performed their final concert on the rooftop.

Seven Stories of Beatles History

Visitors to the new museum will experience a recreation of the Let It Be studio, rotating exhibitions, and a vast collection of archival material spread across seven stories. The museum aims to offer fans an unprecedented look into the band's history, right in the heart of London.

Paul McCartney, gearing up for the release of his new album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, expressed his excitement about the project. “It was such a trip,” McCartney said in a press release. “There are so many special memories within the walls, not to mention the rooftop. The team have put together some really impressive plans and I’m excited for people to see it when it’s ready.”

Endorsed by Apple Corps

While several unlicensed Beatles archives exist, the new museum is the first officially endorsed by the band and their label, Apple Corps. Tom Greene, CEO of Apple Corps, noted the building's existing status as a tourist destination. “Every single day, fans are taking pictures of the outside of 3 Savile Row—but next year they can go in and explore all seven floors of the iconic building, including the rooftop where even the railings remain the same from that famous day in 1969,” Greene said.

Fans' Dream Destination

Located in London's Mayfair district, the building is already significant for Beatles fans. Ringo Starr also commented on the museum, saying, “Wow, it’s like coming home.”

This initiative marks a significant moment for Beatles enthusiasts worldwide, providing an official space to celebrate and explore the band's lasting legacy.
