Charli XCX has released a new track titled “I Keep On Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night,” exclusively available on vinyl and the singer's Instagram account, b.sides. The song, which follows the recent release of “Rock Music” produced by A.G. Cook and Easyfun, is unlikely to appear on digital streaming platforms soon. Charli encouraged fans, saying, “rip the audio if you want it xx.”

The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Aidan Zamiri, known for his work on The Moment. “Day and Night” offers a softer, slower complement to the energetic “Rock Music.” The lyrics explore themes of relationship transformation and self-discovery, with Charli referencing French New Wave director Jacques Rivette and reflecting on her sexuality.
Upcoming Projects
Charli XCX has been hinting at a follow-up to her 2024 album Brat, which will feature more guitar and less pitch-shifted vocals, as reported in a British Vogue cover story. In February, she collaborated on a companion album for Emerald Fennell’s film adaptation of Wuthering Heights, featuring John Cale and Sky Ferreira. Ferreira later claimed the soundtrack included her old demos.
Film Ventures
In addition to her musical endeavors, Charli has been active in the film industry. She recently appeared in the Polish film Erupja, which premiered in April. Her upcoming roles include Daniel Goldhaber’s Faces of Death remake and Gregg Araki’s I Want Your Sex.
