Frankie Muniz and Christopher Lloyd are set to lead the cast of 'Christopher Hope and the Secret of Napoleon', a family adventure film launched for international sales by All Rights Entertainment at the Cannes Film Market. This feature is the first installment of a planned trilogy.

Plot and Inspirations

The film follows a history student caught in a race to uncover a secret Napoleon hid in Paris. The narrative, inspired by 'National Treasure' and 'The Da Vinci Code', involves navigating secret societies and tracing historical clues with friends, linking the past to modern times.

Familiar Faces

Muniz, known for 'Malcolm in the Middle', and Lloyd, famed for roles in mainstream cinema franchises, add cross-generational appeal. Lloyd previously appeared as Malcolm's grandfather in the series. They are joined by Thomas Lemoine, known for 'In Custody' and Netflix’s 'The Countess of Monte Cristo'.

Behind the Scenes

Directed by Peter Lyons Collister, whose work includes 'Sonic the Hedgehog' and 'Transformers', the film also features cinematography by Jörg Widmer, a Terrence Malick collaborator on 'The Tree of Life' and 'A Hidden Life'.

Production and Vision

The film is produced by AuldLands Films and Future Vision Ltd., with Screen Malta's support. Producers describe it as a family adventure aimed at international audiences, blending mystery and history with cinematic scale and positive emotions to inspire curiosity and courage among younger viewers.
