2026 Emmy Nominees: Double Acting Honors

The 2026 Emmy nominations announced on Wednesday feature several actors receiving multiple acting nods, including Jason Bateman, Colman Domingo, Laurie Metcalf, Nick Offerman, and Matthew Rhys.

Jason Bateman

Jason Bateman earned nominations for his roles in Netflix’s Black Rabbit as Vince Friedkin and HBO Max’s DTF St. Louis as Clark Forrest. Despite receiving 18 Emmy nominations in his career and winning a directing Emmy for Ozark in 2019, Bateman has yet to win an acting Emmy.

Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo secured nominations for his performance as Danny in The Four Seasons and as Ali in Euphoria. Domingo's total Emmy nominations now stand at four, including a win in 2022 for his role in Euphoria season two.

Laurie Metcalf

Laurie Metcalf was recognized for her roles in Netflix’s Monster: The Ed Gein Story and HBO Max’s Hacks. With 14 Emmy nominations and four wins, Metcalf previously won for Hacks in 2022 and Roseanne in the early '90s.

Nick Offerman

Nick Offerman received nominations for his roles in Apple TV’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Netflix’s Death By Lightning. Offerman, who has six career Emmy nominations, won in 2023 for The Last of Us.

Matthew Rhys

Matthew Rhys is nominated for his performances in Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay and Netflix’s The Beast In Me. Rhys has eight Emmy nominations, including a win in 2018 for The Americans.

This year's Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock on September 14. The Creative Arts Emmys will occur on September 5 and 6.
