The Fall, the influential English post-punk band, will release their final album, Post Script, this September on Cog Sinister Records, eight years after the death of frontman Mark E. Smith.
Album Details and Release
The album, featuring nine tracks, includes a lead single titled “30 Degrees,” which is already available for listening. The single was co-written by Mark E. Smith along with band members Simon Archer and Ed Blaney in Salford, England.
Legacy and Previous Releases
The Fall's last full-length album was 2017’s New Facts Emerge. Following Smith's passing in 2018 due to lung and kidney cancer, the band released a box set of live performances in the same year and a live album in 2021. Additionally, a book titled Excavate! The Wonderful and Frightening World of the Fall was published in 2021.
