Holman tapped into archives from brands like Dunhill and Mulberry, sourcing authentic ’80s pieces. “We had great support,” Holman says. “Dunhill let me access their ’80s archives, and Mulberry provided classic bags.” The effort extends to eyewear from Ray-Ban and timepieces from Longines and Omega.
The moodboard for Season 2 draws from Holman’s collection of The Face, Vogue, and Tatler magazines. With covers featuring Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and Naomi Campbell, Holman crafted looks inspired by icons like Sade and Whitney Houston. For new characters, such as Hayley Atwell’s role, influences include Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista.
Character Developments
Taggie O’Hara, portrayed by Bella Maclean, maintains a naturalistic style with embroidered shirts, Levi’s, and cowboy boots. “Her references are people at polo matches,” Holman notes. Cameron Cook, played by Nafessa Williams, evolves from a strong-willed producer to a more nuanced character. “We’ve kept the red, but now use softer tailoring and longer skirts,” says Holman.

For the male leads, Holman ensures distinct styles: Tony Baddingham, played by David Tennant, wears bespoke, gangster-inspired suits. Rupert’s attire, worn by Alex Hassell, features classic Prince of Wales checks and a subtle palette. Declan O’Hara, portrayed by Aidan Turner, opts for Irish tweed, while Danny Dyer’s Freddie Jones embraces bolder choices.
