Josh O’Connor, known for his role in Steven Spielberg’s 'Disclosure Day', made waves with his fashion choices on the film's press tour, thanks to stylist Jason Bolden.
Parisian Style Standout
The tour kicked off in Paris with O’Connor donning a Lemaire ensemble: a knitted V-neck vest over a patterned shirt, paired with sleek black trousers. A Cartier Tank Américaine watch worn over his sleeve caught attention. Bolden, who also styles Michael B. Jordan and Sebastian Stan, noted the watch placement was an improvisation, highlighting O’Connor's willingness to take fashion risks.
Dior Dominance
O’Connor continued the tour with a cobalt blue Dior T-shirt and white trousers. For the Paris premiere, he wore a custom black Dior outfit designed by Jonathan Anderson. Bolden commented on the comfort and style of the outfit, which combined elements of a fisherman sweater and evening coat.
As Dior’s menswear ambassador, O’Connor benefited from custom looks, showcasing a partnership between him and Bolden that began earlier this year.
London and New York Highlights
In London, O’Connor sported a black double-breasted suit and a relaxed suit from The Row. The look was completed with exaggerated lapels, turned-back cuffs, and Jacques Marie Mage frames. When the tour moved to New York, he wore a white Dior blazer with a cornflower blue tie.
O’Connor’s choice for 'The Tonight Show' was a yellow Dior shirt, showcasing his varied style throughout the tour.
Styling Inspiration and Personal Touches
Bolden drew inspiration from late-90s and early-2000s NBA Draft styles, merging slouchier proportions with English tailoring. Off the red carpet, O’Connor mixed new and vintage pieces, including labels like Studio Nicholson and Marsèll, and wore Adidas track pants and Story MFG x Asics sneakers.
Bolden highlighted O’Connor’s personal style influence, emphasizing authenticity. Despite O’Connor’s sartorial evolution, his looks remained true to his character. Bolden’s favorite detail: “I don’t know how to tie a tie, so Josh always does it. He ties the best ties, and they always look great.”
