Webtoon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation have announced four new animated titles in development, expanding their collaborative portfolio based on popular Webtoon webcomics.
New Adaptations Announced
The new titles include “The Wolf & Red Riding Hood” by XUANN, “Vampire Family” by unfins, “Sable Curse” by Little Melon, and “Snow and Briar (And The Mirror of Seven Sins)” by M. Nires. These adaptations are part of a strategic partnership first disclosed last fall to co-produce 10 fan-favorite webcomics for a global audience, covering genres like romance, fantasy, action, and comedy.
Details of the Partnership
The initial announcement of this partnership included projects like “Down to Earth” by Pookie Senpai, “The Stellar Swordmaster” by Hong Dae Ui, juno, and Q10, and “Hardcore Leveling Warrior” by Sehoon Kim. Webtoon Entertainment CFO David J. Lee and Warner Bros. Animation president Sam Register shared the update during a panel at Web Summit Vancouver 2026.
The formats of the new co-productions, whether films or series, remain undisclosed, and release dates have not yet been set. Original webcomic creators will retain intellectual property rights and receive a share of the revenue from these animation projects.
