Swedish rapper Bladee is preparing to release his newest album, Sulfur Surfer, on May 20 through Trash Island. The album's lead single, "Blondie," produced by Whitearmor, has already dropped, accompanied by a video directed by Joe Ward.
Collaboration with Current 93
While the full tracklist is yet to be revealed, the album will feature a collaboration with David Tibet's doom folk project, Current 93. The release follows Bladee's 2024 album, Cold Visions, which was ranked No. 8 in Pitchfork's 50 Best Albums of 2024.
Recent Projects and Collaborations
Since his last album, Bladee released an EP titled Ste the Beautiful Martyr 1st Attempt and collaborated with artists such as Oklou, Yung Lean, and Thaiboy Digital.
