HBO's The White Lotus continues to build anticipation for its fourth season with a fresh round of casting confirmations, adding more names to its already star-studded ensemble.
Setting the Stage in France
Season four will unfold in the south of France during the Cannes Film Festival. Creator Mike White shared with Entertainment Tonight that the theme will revolve around fame, contrasting those who seek intimate love with those craving public adoration.
Dual Resort Locations
For the first time, The White Lotus will feature two resort locations: The Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez as White Lotus Du Cap, and Hôtel Martinez in Cannes as White Lotus Cannes. Expect the familiar mix of luxurious settings, demanding guests, and a mystery or two.
A Star-Studded Cast
Laura Dern steps in to replace Helena Bonham Carter after the latter's exit due to creative differences. Dern, known for her role in Enlightened, joins a cast that includes Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley and Industry star Max Minghella.
Other notable names include Alexander Ludwig, fresh from his directorial debut Billings, and AJ Michalka, known for her musical career and Disney Channel roots. Steve Coogan, famed for The Trip series, adds his comedic flair to the mix.

Heather Graham, Rosie Perez, and Chris Messina are among the heavy hitters joining the lineup, alongside newcomers like Caleb Jonte Edwards and Marissa Long. Sandra Bernhard and Ari Graynor bring their experience from previous successful projects.
Vincent Cassel, a giant of French cinema, adds local flavor, possibly taking on the role of a beleaguered hotel manager. The French contingent includes Corentin Fila and Nadia Tereszkiewicz, both recognized for their impressive performances in French films.
Max Greenfield, Kumail Nanjiani, and Chloe Bennet round out the cast with a mix of comedy and action credentials, while Charlie Hall and Jarrad Paul bring fresh energy. Finnish actor Pekka Strang adds international flair, known for his work in Scandinavian cinema.
