Signature Entertainment has acquired the UK and Irish distribution rights for the survival thriller Deep Water, featuring stars Aaron Eckhart and Ben Kingsley. Directed by Renny Harlin, known for Die Hard 2, the film is written by Shayne Armstrong and S.P. Krause. It depicts a harrowing story of a plane crash in shark-infested Pacific waters, where passengers must collaborate to survive.

An exclusive image, shared with The Hollywood Reporter, captures Eckhart and Kingsley in pilot uniforms, poised for their doomed flight. The film boasts an ensemble of producers including Dale G. Bradley, Grant Bradley, Adrián Guerra, Gary Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, Neal Kingston, Robert Van Norden, Bob Yari, and Ying Ye.
Deal Details
The acquisition deal was finalized between Signature Entertainment’s chief commercial officer, Elizabeth Williams, and Arclight Film’s Gary Hamilton. Williams expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We are extremely pleased to bring Harlin’s super entertaining thriller to UK and Irish audiences.
