Rinna, when asked about her preferred candidate for the L.A. mayoral race, stated, "I don’t know yet," but made it clear she does not support Pratt. Pratt, famous for his role on MTV's "The Hills," has gained attention in the polls after criticizing incumbent Karen Bass for her handling of the January 2025 Palisades fire, which affected him personally as he and his wife, Heidi Montag, lost their home.
"Not a reality star, though," Rinna asserted. Drawing parallels to Donald Trump's rise from reality TV to the presidency, she added, "I love him [Pratt], but we’ve already done that. We’re not going to do that again."
Industry Support for Pratt
When asked why Pratt is attracting industry support, Rinna was candid. "You got me, because listen, I’m a reality person. You wouldn’t want me as mayor, really," she remarked. Rinna acknowledged the chaos of the political landscape, noting the upcoming June 2 primary for California's gubernatorial race.

Rinna mentioned her preference for experienced politicians, referencing Matt Mahan, the former mayor of San Jose and a gubernatorial candidate. On the red carpet, she wore a brown oversized suit and a polka dot tie featuring President John F. Kennedy, signifying her respect for traditional political figures. "I like him [Mahan]," she said. "I like him for governor."
