iRobot Unveils Affordable Compact Roombas

iRobot has launched a new range of Roombas, offering eight models with improved features and reduced prices, some up to £200 cheaper. The new models boast advanced suction, a more compact design, and enhanced mopping capabilities.

Restructuring and Ownership

Following a bankruptcy filing and reorganization last year, iRobot is now owned by Shenzhen Picea Robotics. The new line features up to a 25 percent size reduction for many models, allowing better maneuverability under furniture as low as 9cm. All models include increased suction power and improved navigation.

Product Launch Details

The rollout of the new Roombas will begin in mid-2026, starting in North America and extending to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Roomba 415 Combo and 115 Combo will be among the first available models, both already listed as coming soon on iRobot’s UK site.

Pricing and Models

The new lineup starts at £229 for the Roomba 115 and goes up to £799 for the top-tier Roomba Max 775, which offers 30,000 Pa suction and dual rubber roller brushes. This flagship model includes a self-cleaning roller mop with a unique hot spot mopping feature that uses a pressurized hot-spray pre-treatment.

Mid-Range and Entry-Level Options

The mid-range Plus line includes the Roomba Plus 615 and 675, priced at £599 and £699 respectively. These models offer combo mopping with roller mops and suction ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 Pa. The entry-level Roomba 115 Combo offers 15,000 Pa suction and an optional auto-empty dock for an additional £70.

The expanded lineup aims to provide a range of options similar to competitors like Ecovacs and Roborock. Full specifications are yet to be released, but iRobot promises more details soon.
