Eddie Peng and Ewan Mitchell are set to lead the action film 'The Healer,' marking the feature directorial debut of renowned action stunt coordinator Can Aydin. The film's international sales are being launched by Highland Film Group and 66cc at the Cannes Film Festival.

Plot and Production Details
The narrative unfolds in a city ruled by shadows, where Eddie Peng's character, a blind acupuncturist, lives a life of peace after leaving behind a violent past. However, he is drawn back into the underworld after Soly, played by Bradwell, becomes a target for the ruthless gang leader Dandy Lynch, portrayed by Mitchell. The film explores themes of redemption and protection as Peng's character fights against time to save Soly.

Dejan Ahrens, through Marder Films, played a significant role in financing the project, with additional support from Riviera Content, Taiden Audio-Visual Production Co., and East West Bank, all coordinated by Rosebud Finance Kft. The production was conducted in association with Victor Hadida’s Davis Films.
