Bvlgari kicked off the 61st Biennale Arte in Venice with two art-filled events celebrating their partnership with the Biennale until 2030, supporting artists Lotus L. Kang, Lara Favaretto, and Monia Ben Hamouda.

Artistic Installations at Bvlgari Pavilion

Lotus L. Kang's installation at the Bvlgari Pavilion in the Giardini della Biennale features colorful spools of film, ceramic birds, and Korean liquor bottles, exploring themes of place, time, and memory.

Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana Exhibits

At the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, Lara Favaretto and Monia Ben Hamouda's works are showcased. Favaretto's installation includes industrial shelving with vintage books containing hidden images, emphasizing access to information. Ben Hamouda's neon flames engage with Western and Islamic art, reflecting her Italian and Tunisian heritage.

Celebratory Gatherings

Kang's party at Venice Venice Hotel was a lively affair near the Ponte di Rialto, featuring Ruinart champagne and Erose Gin Martinis. The following evening, attendees explored Favaretto's bookshelves at the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana.

Bvlgari's Artistic Vision

Laura Burdese, Bvlgari's deputy CEO, emphasized the brand's respectful support of the Biennale, focusing on celebrating creativity without overwhelming brand messaging. “It's about our shared vision,” Burdese stated, highlighting Monia Ben Hamouda's unique contributions.

Ben Hamouda, a MAXXI Bvlgari art prize winner, expressed joy in participating, recalling her past visits as a student. Her work, interacting with Titian's painting The Knowledge, considers the manipulation of learning.
