Epsilon Film has announced new international distribution deals for 'Momo,' the live-action family adventure film starring Martin Freeman and Claes Bang. Based on Michael Ende's novel, the film has secured rights for several regions.
New Deals and Release Plans
Signature Entertainment has acquired the U.K. and Ireland rights, planning a summer 2026 theatrical release. Other deals include Italy with Minerva Pictures, Hungary with Mozinet, and former Yugoslavia with Investacommerce.
Previous Sales and Distribution
Earlier, 'Momo' secured distribution in North America through Blue Fox Entertainment, Slovakia and the Czech Republic via Media Group, Denmark and Norway with Another World Entertainment, and the Middle East through Selim Ramia & Co. Ricochet Digital Media holds worldwide inflight rights.
Cast and Crew
The film features Martin Freeman, an Emmy and BAFTA winner known for 'The Hobbit' and 'Sherlock,' alongside Claes Bang, recognized for roles in 'The Square' and 'Dracula.' The cast also includes Alexa Goodall, Araloyin Oshunremi, and others. Directed by Christian Ditter, the production involves Rat Pack Filmproduktion and Constantin Film, among others.
