Vasana Montgomery has been dismissed from 'Love Island USA' just days after being announced as part of the Season 8 cast, following the emergence of videos showing her using the n-word.
Recurring Issue for 'Love Island USA'
This marks the second consecutive year that the reality dating series has faced such an issue. Last year, Yulissa Escobar was removed during the second episode for similar reasons. Cierra Ortega also exited last season after using a racist term for Asian people, which she claimed she was unaware was offensive.

In one of the videos, Montgomery is seen saying “Knock knock, n—-” while playing a shooting game at an arcade. The other video shows her rapping along to a song in a car that includes the word. Both videos were reportedly posted on private accounts and surfaced publicly only after the cast announcement, thus evading Peacock's vetting process.
