Anna Faris revealed that a joke aimed at Melania Trump was removed from 'Scary Movie 6', the latest release in the franchise.

Deleted Scene Details

Faris told Dexerto that she envisioned her character, Cindy, as a quintessential MAGA supporter, akin to those causing disruptions during the quarantine outside Walmart. She shared a scene where Cindy, inebriated and sitting in her truck, looked into the rearview mirror and recited, 'Be best, Cindy Campbell. Be best,' referencing Melania Trump's 'Be Best' initiative from Donald Trump's presidency. Despite the cut, Faris enjoyed the humorous nod.

Faris' Take on Offensive Humor

Reflecting on the film's content, Faris remarked, 'You know, what are you gonna do? You gonna be mad at Cindy? I’m in a movie that is truly the most offensive movie ever made, and I’m the lead of it. And I participate in offensive ideas. I think I can kind of do anything. It liberated me.'

Franchise Return and Box Office Success

Faris returned to her role as Cindy for the 2026 reboot, directed by Michael Tiddes, after skipping 2013's 'Scary Movie 5'. She joined original stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Regina Hall. Released on June 5, the film dominated the box office with an estimated $55 million in domestic ticket sales during its opening weekend.
