Adidas and Australian menswear label Song for the Mute are set to launch their seventh collaborative collection, ADI007, inspired by school uniforms and releasing globally on May 15.
Footwear Highlights
The ADI007 collection features new takes on Adidas's popular Tokyo and Samba silhouettes. The Samba LX Freizeit, a revamped version of the classic soccer shoe, is offered in black or brown leather, mimicking a schoolboy dress shoe with a perforated toe box. Meanwhile, the Tokyo sneakers offer a gym-class aesthetic with a mesh and nylon upper in sandy tan, electric blue, and black, complemented by creamy soles and contrasting suede stripes.
Apparel Collection
The apparel in the ADI007 collection continues the school uniform theme. Highlights include pre-distressed tees with a scribbly Adidas logo, black gym shorts, and pieces like an oversized rugby-style polo and baggy gray trousers. Completing the collection are two full-zip Adidas jackets in a boxy cut.
Global Release and Pricing
The Song for the Mute x Adidas ADI007 collection will be available on the Adidas website starting May 15. Footwear prices range from $150 to $180, while apparel items are priced from $50 to $200.
The collaboration is part of Adidas's ongoing partnerships with high-profile fashion labels, including Willy Chavarria and Wales Bonner, but the unique aesthetic of Song for the Mute sets this collection apart.
