The official description from Square Enix outlines a narrative where protagonist Cloud Strife and his team face impending doom, with their adversary Sephiroth approaching godhood. The group embarks on a mission aboard the airship Highwind to thwart Meteor, the ultimate destructive magic. Key characters include gunslinger Vincent Valentine and pilot Cid Highwind. Players will explore new areas, utilize a novel job system in combat, and build strong bonds to counter this existential threat.
