Drama Unfolds at 'In the City' Reunion

Bravo's 'In the City' reunion part one aired on Tuesday, bringing back the cast members to revisit the season's key moments. Lindsay Hubbard, Amanda Batula, Whitney Fransway, and others sat down with Andy Cohen to reflect on their experiences and address ongoing conflicts.

Amanda and West: Relationship Update

Amanda Batula addressed her relationship with West Wilson, clarifying viral photos from Italy as a misunderstanding involving an olive. Despite being monogamous, Amanda confirmed they have not yet exchanged 'I love yous'. The reunion, filmed on June 11, showed Amanda 'disappointed' by her defensive behavior at the 'Summer House' reunion, admitting she was on beta blockers.

Danielle Olivera expressed shock at Amanda and West still being together, advising Amanda to spend time alone. Amanda and West's relationship began soon after her divorce from Kyle Cooke, leading to criticism due to West's past involvement with Amanda's friend, Ciara Miller. Amanda, who will not return for 'Summer House' season 11, praised Kyle for his support amid the backlash.

Lindsay and Whitney's Heated Exchange

The reunion's most intense moment involved Lindsay Hubbard and Whitney Fransway. Their feud ignited over Whitney's 'single mom card' comment during the finale. Whitney accused Lindsay of exploiting her status to secure the primary bedroom, sparking outrage for insinuating Lindsay's use of a nanny. Lindsay, visibly upset, demanded multiple apologies from Whitney, describing the comment as a 'poor choice of words'.

Kenny Martin defended Whitney, attributing some missteps to grieving his mother's death. Gavin Moseley clarified that calling Whitney 'boring' stemmed from frustration over her and Kenny's portrayal of a perfect relationship despite underlying issues.

More Revelations and Unresolved Tensions

Kyle Cooke shared he is dating again, recently spending time with 'Southern Charm' star Salley Carson, while Lindsay stated she's not seeking a serious relationship. Despite some resolutions, tensions remain high, as preview clips suggest escalating drama in part two. Amanda is set to confront Kyle about a supposed affair during their marriage, which she only learned about recently.

Part two of the 'In the City' reunion will air on Tuesday, July 28, at 8 p.m. ET. All episodes are available for streaming on Peacock.
