Nectar Social, an AI-powered marketing platform, announced a $30 million Series A funding round led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund, created alongside Anthropic.

Background and Technology

Founded by sisters Misbah and Farah Uraizee, former Meta employees, Nectar Social is an agentic operating system for marketers. The company exited stealth last year and uses autonomous AI agents to manage social activity, moderation, creator workflows, competitive intelligence, and commerce conversations end-to-end. It has data partnerships with Meta and Reddit, enabling their AI agents to consolidate data from various platforms.

Leadership and Vision

Misbah Uraizee, CEO of Nectar Social, stated that the funding will allow the company to expand and hire more employees in applied AI, engineering, and go-to-market sectors. Uraizee emphasized the shift of buying conversations to social platforms, noting, "No human team can staff every place it happens. We’re accelerating our category lead in building the operating system that lets brands show up everywhere."

Clients and Investors

The company’s client roster includes Liquid Death, Figma, and e.l.f Beauty. Apart from Menlo Ventures, the funding round saw participation from Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures, GV, and True Ventures.

Funding Utilization

The newly acquired funds will help Nectar Social enhance their technological infrastructure and increase their workforce to better serve their expanding client base and meet the growing demand for AI-driven marketing solutions.
