Mena Suvari will narrate the audiobook for Alice Hoffman's upcoming novel, The Witches of Cambridge, set for release on September 8 by Scribner Books, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Story Set in 1950s Cambridge
The novel is set in the 1950s in Cambridge, Massachusetts, focusing on Ava and Lauren, two Radcliffe College students. They are recruited by the Lilith Society, a secret group of witches tracing back to colonial times.
Release Coincides with 'Practical Magic 2'
The audiobook's release will precede the September 11 theatrical debut of Practical Magic 2. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman return as the Owens sisters, in an adaptation of Hoffman's 2021 book, The Book of Magic. This sequel follows the 1995 novel Practical Magic, which was adapted into a 1998 film.
